You will be greeted by our coordinator on arrival at Cochin.
The only temple in India with the main deity as Lord Bharatha. The temple comprises the main structure, walled compound with citadels, four ponds around the main structure where in one of the ponds is situated within the walled structure.One of four temples in Kerala state that form a set called “Nalambalam” You will be reaching Guruvayur by evening. After checking-in and freshening up which you may have an evening stroll around the premises. For shopaholics, this is the best time for collecting artefacts of spiritual and cultural importance of the state.
One of the most important places of worship for Hindus and is often referred to as “BhulokaVaikunta” which translates to the “Holy Abode of Vishnu on Earth“. The presiding deity of the Guruvayur Temple is Vishnu, worshipped in the form of Krishna. The central icon is represents the majestic form of Vishnu as revealed to Krishna’s parents Vasudeva and Devaki around the time of Krishna’s birth; hence Guruvayur is also known as “Dwarka of South India“. The worshiping routines of this deity is as suggested by AdiShankara.
After a short rest and lunch we will be heading towards the peaceful SnehaTheeram beach after which you will bw taken to Thriprayar Rama Temple
Visiting Guruvayur temple is said to be completed only if we visit this Shiva temple which is located within the region. Unlike other Rama temples there is no Pratishta for Hanuman here. The principle offerings meenoottu(ritual-led fish feeding for ancestors) for Sreerama and Aval for Hanuman (considering the very presence of the deity along with SreeRama). Night will be spend back at Guruvayur.
Day 3 (Guruvayur to Thirunavaya – 50 kms )
Guruvayur Anakottil (Elephant Camp)
Only one of it’s kinds in the world this camp contains over 50 baby and adult elephants which are being offered to Sri Guruvayurappan by his devotees. After lunch we will be heading towards Tirunavaya. check in the hotel by evening and overnight stay.
Historically significant ancient Hindu temple on the banks of the river Bharathapuzha dedicated to Nava Mukundan (Vishnu). It is believed that by performing offerings to the passed away ancestors or Bali,( 5 am to 11 am) in this temple helps the spiritual evolution and taking soul to moksha level. The other recommended offering to the passed away is Thilaka homa. Performed at. 9am. It also figures among the 106 DivyaDesams that exist in the Earthly realm according to the Tamil Alvar tradition of the 9th Century.
Morning after temple visit and performing rituals proceed to cochin for onward journey. En-route we will take a short visit at Chamravatton Ayyappa temple, which in located inside the river- Bharatha puzha. Hope by this time you are light hearted and enlightened.

The package consists of accommodation for two persons, on twin sharing basis as per the itinerary. Meal Plan EP , No meals is part of this itinerary, room only basis. Conveyance in a/c cab, airport / Railway station – hotel transfers, temple visit and seeing as per itinerary . If there is only one guest charge applicable will be the same that of two.
